  14. The main problem is to update the system to at least OS2.0 better OS3.x.
  15. I know of several solutions: 
  16. 1st. Buy a Kickstart ROM adapter and the nessesary ROMs. 
  17. 2nd. Softkick the ROM using programms like kickit or ykick.
  18.      (This may be illegal to you because of the needed Kickstart-file.)
  19. 3rd. Expand you internal 256KB WOM to 512KB, replace the Boot ROMs with
  20.      new software and create a Kickstart-Disk. (This is a hardware hack, 
  21.      probably you will need to buy ROMs for this to be legal)

  23. If you solved this, there is no principle problem in using AmiTCP.
  24. I have a A1000 right here running OS2.1 and AmiTCP (serving WWW pages and 
  25. being a nice Terminal with FTP and Multi-Window capabilities.
