- The main problem is to update the system to at least OS2.0 better OS3.x.
- I know of several solutions:
- 1st. Buy a Kickstart ROM adapter and the nessesary ROMs.
- 2nd. Softkick the ROM using programms like kickit or ykick.
- (This may be illegal to you because of the needed Kickstart-file.)
- 3rd. Expand you internal 256KB WOM to 512KB, replace the Boot ROMs with
- new software and create a Kickstart-Disk. (This is a hardware hack,
- probably you will need to buy ROMs for this to be legal)

- If you solved this, there is no principle problem in using AmiTCP.
- I have a A1000 right here running OS2.1 and AmiTCP (serving WWW pages and
- being a nice Terminal with FTP and Multi-Window capabilities.
